It so happens an American boy scout is staying there, bored stiff, while being kept safe from Mafiosi who want to kidnap him for ransom. After a game together the boy is missing. The tracks show that he didn't follow the planned route. Did someone swap notes, so the boy would get closer to the fence than he should? That would mean someone from the inside is not who he pretends to be... |

During a trip the Beavers find a bottle in the sea. A bottle with a note in it, a cry for help from castaways. They inform the authorities, but nobody wants to believe them since the bodies from the same castaways were found a long way from where the note claims they were. The Beavers don't give up.. |

The Beavers plan to camp at the side of where a lake should come, once a dam has been finished. They help the people that need to move out of their homes, and they get in touch with Guus, an old and lonely man. The people from the neighborhood think he's crazy, but the Beavers find out he's just feeling extremely guilty. For a murder he committed... |

The Beavers are doing a spy-game. They should, divided in groups, attempt to follow someone through the city, and even attempt to take a parcel. Tapir and Vlieg follow a real spy, without knowing it. They even get the parcel he is carrying, which contains some very important technical documents. But the spy knows who they are and wants his documents back at all cost... |

During a stay in Austria, near the Braslavian border, an escaped prisoners seeks refuge in the Beavers' camp. He is chased by the Braslavian political police, but the Beavers can outsmart them. The wounded man tells them about the secret son of the former king of Braslavia, and hints about the location of the treasure and the archives of the royal family. Both the treasure and the archives are important enough for many people, and the Beavers have a hard time separating fact from fiction - and lies... |

Falcon's father, a biochemist, is working in Moanda to find out what caused the death of crops and cattle there. He asked the Beavers to come over to help, and they accept. They receive a warm welcome, but when it comes to practical issues for the last leg of their trip, it appears as if someone doesn't want them to go there. With some inventivity they do manage to leave, but that was only the start of their problems... |

The Beavers have planned a trip to the "Hole to Hell", a cave in the Pyrenees that was used by the medieval gangster "El Demonio". He used it to quickly go to other places, so there must be a passage under the mountains, and the Beavers intend to find out. But their tents are damaged, their food is stolen, the material to descend in the cave is taken... Someone tries to keep them from going in that cave... |

Held aboard a small ship somewhere between Italy and France, the Beavers need all their inventivity to try to escape. They don't succeed, but they did get some attention from the coast-guard at least. The drugs-smugglers that hold them decide to take them to land, and hold them in some of the old towers that can still be found in Sardinia. And just there a group of girl-guides decided to camp... |

The Costa-Delmar gang will do anything to discredit Patricia. She's the only one that can testify about the hidden workshops. Meanwhile the kidnappers are silenced too, this way there are no reliable witnesses left. By accident the Beavers discover the entrance to one of those workshops, but the only result is that two of them are captured there... |

Tapir, misunderstood by the entire world, wanders through town. He meets a couple from the island Kroko, an island they had to leave out of fear for their lives. Now they are trying to tell everyone about the cruel dicator that governs the island. Tapir decides to tell his friends about this, and the Beavers decide to help the refugees. A spy of Kroko's dictator has heard everything... |

After a carefully manipulated attempt to assasinate Metastasis, the tyrant declares a blockade around the Crab-island. For the Beavers this means they too are trapped and cannot go home. Francis, a friend, knows where on Kroko he can find the son of Nepo, the only man that has evidence against Metastasis, but since the tyrant holds his son he cannot speak. So the Beavers decide to attempt to free the boy, as this is the only way to stop Metastasis once and for all... |

The Beavers are on a camp in the Belgian Ardennes. They get the company of two girls, a Belgian and an American. The American is looking for a ruin of a chapel, she wants to look where her father has fought in the second World War. The police warns them to be on the lookout for two escaped prisoners who are seen in the neighborhood. And at the same time food starts to disappear from the camp... |

The group has to stop a canoe-trip because the rain has made the river too dangerous. Times proves them right, since later they assist when Mesin is flooded, and they help where they can. Afterwards the local priest asks them to take care of a group of children as long as the families cannot go back to their houses. The terrain they can use turns out to be next to a rubbish-dump. And then they witness an illegal waste-transport... |

Bliksemsteen (Lightning-stone) |
On some pictures taken from the sky the Beavers spot something that must have been an old road, and they decide to see if they can find it. When they follow a side-path, they discover an old forgotten coach-house. In it, in an old trunk, they find a letter addressed to a count living at a nearby castle, 200 years ago. They decide to bring it, but the castle is burnt. The descendant of the count now lives in another castle, but that seems doomed: everyone who nears it becomes extremely ill. And to add to the mystery, tapir sees a flying saucer that lands at the castle... |
