My book collection
A good story beats every magic. It can carry you through time and space, better than the best special movie effects. It can tickle your imagination, brighten a rainy afternoon, make you forget your worries for just as long as you like. Well, I don't have to tell you all this, you ended up on this page, so I presume you're interested in reading.
I know some people like to drop names that have a certain weight. I can do that too you know. Faulkner. There you have it. Proust. Another one. Can't say I've read any of them, so far, but at least I dropped them ;-)
Here you'll find some of my favorites. Not the ones you're supposed to have read, but the ones I liked reading. Stephen King is one of them. "Just horror" I hear you say? Oh dear, think again. Try the wonderfully enchanting "The Body", better known as the movie "Stand by me". And what about "The Green Mile"? Horror? A bloody mess with demons from other worlds, here to rip your soul while ripping your guts? Tsss.
