Nr. Cover Title Story
1 Cover Schorpioen Het teken van de Duivel
(The sign of the Devil)
The Schorpioen (=scorpion), so named after its image on his shoulder, robs the graves of sacred man and sells the relics.  Though this alone does not explain, not yet, why a cardinal takes great pains to have him killed...
2 Cover Schorpioen Het Geheim van de Paus
(The Pope's Secret)
The Schorpioen recovers from the poison, but only just.  He decides to pay Cardinal Trebaldi's house a visit, to figure out why a murderer was sent behind him.  The documents he finds, produce only more questions.  The only one that could answer those questions is the Pope.  But at the same time the Pope's assasination is being planned...
3 Cover Schorpioen Het Kruis van Petrus
(Peter's Cross)
The Pope is dead, and that has a very personal meaning for the Schorpioen.  He knows Trebaldi is behind it, and he is determined to expose him and his plot.  But he has to be fast, because it looks like Trebaldi's election as the next Pope is unavoidable...
4 Cover Schorpioen De duivel in het Vaticaan
(The devil in the Vatican)
Trebaldi tries to convince everyone that his popeship is approved by Saint Peter himself, by showing the cross on which Saint Peter died.  The Schorpioen has no choice but to look for the real cross, if he is to prevent Trebaldi from getting that absolute power.  But all the traces seem to lead to Istanbul, and Trebaldi's men will do everything to avoid that he'll reach that...
5 Cover Schorpioen Het heilige dal

A smart move by Mejaï helps them escape from the authorities of Istanbul - only to end up in the hands of Rochnan, who intends to end everything once and for all for the Scorpion.  The distraction of a few bandits that smelled gold allow the Scorpion to escape, and now they hurry to Cappadocia to look for Petrus' real cross.  Easier said than done, as there are few clues and many possible locations - and someone else searching...
6 Cover Schorpioen De schat van de tempel
(The treasure of the temple)
Together with Ferron and Ferrice The Scorpion and his group travel to Jerusalem, which seems to be the true location of Petrus' cross.  Rochnan has used other methods to reach the same conclusion, he's on his way too.  A rabbi brings the Scorpion the last clue he needs: the castle of Saint-Serrac - and a clue about the nature of the famous treasure of the Templars...

Nr. Cover Title Story
1 Cover Skarbek Deel 1
(Part 1)
Count Mieszko Skarbek, a Polish business-man, arrives in Paris in 1843.  His background is mysterious, and so is the origin of the hundreds of paintings by Louis Paulus he owns.  This causes some commotion in art-circles, since Paulus allegedly died many years ago, it would be unusual of so many missing pieces suddenly surfaced.  But the paintings are real, yet they are only a tool in the count's plans...
