Oerbosvertellingen - Op zoek naar de tijdvogel

Oerbosvertellingen
(by Tarvel & Aouamri)

Many years ago the face of the Earth changed.  Giant trees, up to 500 meters high, cover land and see. Flora and fauna has adapted to this new situation, and so have humans.  But are they all humans?

Nr. Cover Title Story
1 Cover Oerbosvertellingen De wortelstam
(The root-tribe)
Torg and Daha love each other.  Which is less obvious than it seems, since Torg came falling from the trees as a baby, and was adopted by the root-tribe, and Daha is a nymph, from the forest people.  Some people from Torg's tribe don't really accept him, and he is forced to fight to be able to marry Daha...
2 Cover Oerbosvertellingen De reis naar omhoog
(The voyage up)
Torg is training hard, he wants to climb to the tree-tops to find out where he came from.  Keb would like to beat him, and he and his gang are building a scaffolding against a tree.  While looking at this, Korg is attacked by a giant leech.  It seems he cannot ever get loose, until a strange flying woman comes to his rescue.  Who is she?
3 Cover Oerbosvertellingen De schorshandelaars
(The bark traders)
After Daha and Torg have said goodbye to Axam, who has found his wife and children back, they continue their journey.  But they won't stay alone for long.  They come upon a web of metal cables that are hanging from tree to tree.  While Torg is following one of them, Daha is taken by a group of people in some kind of a gondola.  She is forced to fight, and when she wins she "may" become the group-leader's wife, when she looses she dies.  And where is Torg...?
