This is Cha Istikar (I hope I’m spelling it right), the owner of Exotic Master, a shop selling food from all over the globe, in Brussels. For this magazine I was asked to take a few pictures of his shop, and if there would be a good one of him it would be for the cover. But: he didn’t want to. So I said it would be distributed in his surroundings, free, and that it would be free advertising. That seemed to make a little difference. “Show some fruits or so,” I suggested. So he went grabbing some things, and I said that “this one is just to check the flash-settings”. My intuition was right, he kept asking other people to pose with him, but none of those pictures had the perfect look this one had. Even if it was not even posed, just me “checking the flash” 🙂
