Lately I aim to have a few pictures of the musicians with a spot behind them. Tends to give a nice halo. And once in a while a lot of things come together: a nice expression, a good colour-mix, and a background that fits. The light behind the guy in the picture is not the spot colouring his hair, just a lamp, but it provided a nice natural vignette-effect around his head.
