Bloedschuld (Blood-debt)
 |
The young Leka lives with his Russian guardian Nikita in a small farm near the Albanian coast. They keep their food on the table through small crimes. One day Sose, the daughter of the village doctor and about the same age as Leka, asks him to come and bring a dozen eggs every week. The first time he brings them she watches a compilation of fencing scenes from lots of movies, quite some of them American. Leka is hooked immediately, both on the fencing and on the movieclips. He starts getting really fond of Sose, but Nikita only sees her as a means to get into the house and steal the docter's valuables...

De amazone (The amazon) |
By accident one of Leka's men discovers what looks like an old library, hidden underneath the kulla Leka bought some time ago. Its books could be worth a small fortune, but one of them could be priceless: the register kept by the capidan's intendant; the register of all the blood-debts. They find the register, but there is one detail: there is information in there that cannot be written a long time ago, so someone had access to this book - and someone knows Leka ows a blood-debt too...
