Various artists get the opportunity to deliver their Spirou-story. They may not all be anything near the usual drawing-style, but it looks as if each has its own value.

|Spirou and Fantasio accompany Martin, an archaeologist exploring the bottom of the Mediterranean Sea. They find a statue that looks like it fell of a ship, since it surely doesn't belong in this part of the world. The adventurous archaeologist Bill Callaway is brought in by Fantasio, who is extremely charmed by Callaway's assistant. Martin refuses Callaway's help, and this is the start of a race between Martin's thorough investigation and Callaway's expensive usage of robots and sattellites, to find the origin of this statue...

|Alarmed by the count Spirou and Fantasio hurry to Champignac. They find an partially exploded castle and a careless count, it wasn't that bad after all, he claims. But when a sphinx escapes, he's forced to tell them a bit more about the crypt he found under the castle. He needs money to repair his castle though, and Seccotine proposes to help her get to the grave of the Ice-princess, in Nepal...
