Germonprez' son has jumped off the roof. He had expected it would touch him more, but it doesn't, so he decides to go back to work. A colleague seems to be more heart-broken than he is about it, and his manager apparently doesn't care very much. Then at a meeting Germonprez sees his manager lay an egg. Or he thinks that's what he saw, at least. |

Germonprez starts to see his son everywhere. His mood swings between meekness and anger. He seeks professional help since he starts to be convinced that his son's suicide is part of a bigger scheme, there are too many coincidences. But at the same time he feels as if nobody really listens to him. His life is slipping away from him... |

Germonprez wants to be "congruous" with his son, but neither the wind nor his shape are very cooperative. And another problem seems to stick its head up: though he sleeps a lot he seems to need to catch up sleep during the day. A result of his struggles with the memories of his son? Or is there a more simple physical explanation? |

Germonprez is happy now that he can communicate with is son, using morse, via his breathing device. His environment tolerates him, and it seems as if he has found a new balance in life. Until he becomes angry at Wannes... |

Het belang van het detail (The detail's importance) |
On his way to his therapist Germonprez' train is delayed because someone jumped in front of it. The reactions of the other passengers shock him, but he keeps his anger to himself. In stead he drinks it away before going to his therapist, but on the way there he hurts his back badly... |
