Nr. Cover Title Story
1 Cover Tecumska Tecumska Upon arrival in New York Ethan is greeted by a banker who apparently manages sufficient funds for Ethan so he can spend the rest of his life doing what he wants. But his idea of "doing what he wants" is doing so without all those funds, completely on his own. So he takes a room in a less luxurious part of the city, and looks for a job. Easier said than done for a young man inexperienced with the customs of the less nice parts of New York in the 19th century. He owns two prototypes of guns, quite revolutionary, and he is forced to sell one. That raises the interest of someone looking for the other gun...

2 Cover De nevelmannen De nevelmannen
(The foggy men)
Ethan works only for a short time undercover at Van Rhinelander when there is a burglary at Van Rhinelander's most important project: a machine that will be able to fly. And Van Rhinelander's men, including Ethan, arrive when the burglars are still in the shed where they try to steal the plans for the machine. Most don't get out alive, but the one that does escape gives Ethan a clue about who's behind it. On to his next conflict, but this time with a colleague undercover agent, as this clue leads to the place where she's gathering information...

3 Cover Tussen twee werelden Tussen twee werelden
(Between two worlds)
The test with the automobile goes wrong. Sabotage. But Rhinelander is determined to open his factory before the summer. His preparations require a trip to Falsetown, a trip which is a trainride and two days on a horse's back far. A dangerous trip, though it's not clear who are the dangerous ones...
