Asterix
(by A. Uderzo & R. Goscinny)
See also: Comic Errors
Is an introduction really needed for this timeless and ageless classic? All the traditional ingredients are here: a sympathetic but a bit boring hero, a funny companion, an intelligent Nestor, and a returning enemy that is not really that smart. Mix that with the amusing drawings of Uderzo, and the linguistically lovely stories of the late Goscinny and you get a great series.
