She can train the ten "worst" soldiers, and when she succeeds, she can become the supreme commander of his army. His current supreme commander has other plans...

On one of her trips Aria comes through a place where a strange fog seems to hang. It gives light, and it seems to suffocate her. The whinny of her horse directs her out, and the last few meters she's dragged out by people that are surprised she got through. So they tell her about the battle over the land between two brothers, one of which uses magic to fight the other...

A battle blocks Aria's road. Just before she wants to turn back she spots a little girl that wants to throw a spear at someone. Aria grabs the child and wants to take here away from the fighting, when she is hit in the shoulder by an arrow. The girl then proposes to draw a magical drawing on Aria's shoulder to make the wound heal. Aria agrees, more to let the child have her way. But it works - and the little girl has more hidden gifts...

One night in an inn a late traveler comes in. He wears a mask, and has a crosier with bells. People fear him and want to kick him out, but Aria comes to the rescue and gives the man a meal and pays his room. In return he tells her about the secret lake he's going to, everyone who bathes there gets cured, becomes younger, and so on. But he talked a bit loud about this magical lake, and a whole convoy is going there. Once arrived things are not going the way people hoped...

Weeks and weeks Aria has been going from town to village, and now she reached the king, all for the same purpose: warn them for the coming of the knights of Aquarius. All in vain, because here too she receives nothing but laughter, and a coin for telling a good story. But the next day they are there, as invincible as she had told them...

(The ring of the Elflings)
One day a young boy's daydreams seem to become real. For a few days only, once every 104 years, the immaterial Elflings materialize, and they can be touched, heard and seen by humans. The greed of some hunters makes them ignore the temporary nature of this phenomenon, and they try to capture as many as they can. In an attempt to protect the Elflings Aria chases the hunters, but it seems the Elflings are good enough in protecting themselves, a bit too good...

(The judgement of the raven)
Aria finds a strange spear, and moments later a wounded man. The spear is his. Bandits have just attacked them, killed his two brothers and taken their camels. Aria takes care of his wounds and helps him to return to the group he belongs too. She notices that they try to hide that there is something special with the spear, but when she shows that she can manage alone against two thieves they allow her to join the group, and tell their story...

(The meridian of Posidonia)
Aria helps a refugee, but they both get caught. He doesn't survive it, she receives the privilege to work as one of the slaves that should accomplish an old madman's dream: a giant throne carved out of the rocks. Aria can think of only one thing: out of there. And with a little help from other slaves she manages. She finds her way to Vestaion, a man with remarkable friends, and remarkable skills that might be useful...

(The women's fight)
On her way to Tarvelborg, to compete in the tournaments, Aria is surprised by a snow-storm. She is close to freezing when she is found by a family that gives her a warm place to stay. The next morning soldiers come for a tax collection, but they accept to take Aria in stead, to present her to the leader of Tarvelborg. When she nears the village, she gets very ill, and faints. Ghosts from her past come back...

(Angel eye)
A historian finds the grave of Phaëlgal, the famous prophet. In it is Phaëlgal's book where he wrote down all of his prophecies. Unfortunately they are in such a language that even after ten years he can get head nor tails from it.
The clues seem to indicate that a Gornex is needed, a woman, and an angel eye or so. The pieces of the puzzle start to fall together when he meets Aria and a man called Angel eye. All that is needed now is a Gornex...

(The untamables)
On her way to Orquerolles Aria tries, in vain, to prevent that a female Taurok, mother of two cubs, is captured to be killed in an Arena. When she arrives in the village, she is determined to free the animal. She succeeds, but gets caught and is condemned to become a priestess, to make "nak", a local drink, for the rest of her life...
 
12 Cover Ianesch-Handra Ianesch-Handra It's a day in which Aria meets some old aquaintances. First the sculptor of one of her first adventures, then Glore (see "The Riders of Aquarius")... Glore invites her to his home, and there Aria discovers that he married a "copy" of her. What she doesn't know is that he'll be using this occasion to get rid of his wife. A mix-up however puts Aria on a ship towards a new colony...

(The voice of the prophet)
Aria's horse is stolen, and she goes after the thieves. Despite an effort of some would-be fortune-teller, she finds her way through a rocky maze, only to find out she has ended up in a very closed society, that doesn't want the rest of the world to know they exist. That also means that once Aria is in, she cannot get out...

(The robber of the light)
A family living a bit remote is being tortured to tell where "the box" is. Just then an arrow seems to come from nowhere and kills one of the torturers. And another. And a third, but the robbers find what they're after and the survivors drive off. The group of archers was no group, but a lone woman: Aria. She hears then and there that the gang actually came to steal what should have been her heritage...
 
15 Cover Venderic Venderic Emperor Cirénom's troops have conquered many peaceful countries. As Aria travels through one she can witness the brutality of the army and justice system. Many crosses, many people hanging on them. She meets a harpist who intrigues her. He tells of the Frones, a people living in Arnolia, a few days from here. And she is even more intrigued since he seems to know quite much about her...
 
16 Cover Ove Ove A young woman, living in a society where women have no rights at all, is being married to a man she never saw before. On her wedding night she has a very strange experience, and she wakes up with memories of a previous life. In that life men and women were equal, and these things are enough to have her declared mad. She is taken to a sanatorium for treatment, and during that trip Aria's path crosses hers. She asks Aria for help, but what can she do?
 
17 Cover De tuin van Satan De tuin van Satan
(Satan's garden)
On her way to Arnolia Aria is told about an enchanted forest, the Garden of Satan, that kills everyone that wants to get through. She sees the attempt of a young man, and decides to follow him. There is this legend about a castle with rooftiles of pure gold, smack in the middle of where the forest now is, that tickles her curiosity...

(Angry Venus)
Aria is being attacked by what seems to be a bunch of young robbers. But she recognizes them: she has spent a part of her youth together with them, at a couple that had bought them. This unexpected meeting brings up a lot of memories, sometimes of things she wasn't aware of ever having known them...
 
19 Cover Sacristar Sacristar Aria is arrested on false charges, and taken to a slavery market. She is accused of being one of the Amazons that are terrorizing the environment. To her own surprise Tiger frees her, but not too long after that they fall into the hands of the real Amazons. Up to now the Amazons' reputation exceeded by far what they really did, but Aria's escape escalates the violence. There is only one solution: go after Sacristar...

(A flower under the heart)
Aria is pregnant. Quite a surprise, and quite a change in her way of living. So she decides to go to Arnolia, to her castle. She can be there in a week, and Tiger can follow her when he's better. With a child inside her she doesn't want to take any risk and she hires protection. Right when they leave a man joins them on their trip. It promises to be a far more dangerous trip than they had imagined...

(The angel's claw)
Aria's child is born. Everything went fine except... the child has claws and scales. Tiger can't handle it, and tries to kill the child, but fails. The situation becomes difficult when the child grows so fast one can actually see it, and it becomes clear that it can communicate via the mind. The big Frone comes because he sensed something had happened, but he hadn't expected this. He offers the help of the Frones, and that will be needed sooner than expected...

(The track of the rats)
Aria's son, Sacham, has nightmares, and the only way to get rid of them is to go and look for his father, Tiger. He wants to do this alone and Aria lets him travel with a magician and his daughter - but she secretly stays nearby. During the trip he discovers his healing touch, and the sweetness of a first love. Once arrived in his father's village, he finds his father's empty shop, and his father is an old beggar since his crippled hand prevents him from building instruments like he used to...
 
23 Cover De troetel De troetel
(The coddle)
While swimming near her castle Aria discovers a cave, and in it a chest with some letters. She finds out who they were intended for, and decides to deliver them - if only to satisfy her curiosity. A strange man guides her to Venturion, where she finds the person to whom the letters are addressed: a young boy whose coddle is stolen, and who therefore cannot be accepted in his community. Aria decides to go and find the coddle...
 
24 Cover De gevangen ziel De gevangen ziel
(The captured soul)
When Aria arrives in an inn, she can't help noticing that the woman running it believes her husband is now just a small marble. Or at least, his soul is captured in it. It's not really a marble, it's so hard nobody can crush it, and the woman asks Aria if she wants to help her release the soul of her husband so she can find piece. That involves going to a place where dragons live...
 
25 Cover Florina Florina In an inn in Sanarfante, a coastal village, a stranger offers Aria a pint of beer he received from the inn-keeper. And that is about the last she remembers before waking up on a ship. It turns out to be a sneeky way to "hire" strong single men, and Aria's presence is quite a surprise. They will drop her off as soon as they reach a less rocky coast. While on sea they have captured a creature, half man, half fish. Aria helps the creature to escape, and jumps off the ship herself. A bit too far from the coast though...
 
26 Cover De tuin van Baohm De tuin van Baohm
(The garden of Baohm)
Aria's horse, Furia, comes out of an accident with a scratch. Nothing serious, but the horse seems to suffer from some poison that got into the wound. Aria is heart-broken, but she has no option but to end the suffering of the animal. She shoots, and misses, and the horse escapes, it runs towards a slow death in solitude. Aria finds shelter and human warmth in a religious community. Slowly but surely she starts to loose her will there...
 
27 Cover Sterrenlied Sterrenlied
(Starsong)
Early in the morning, while Aria is still asleep in her tent, a less friendly figure tries to kill and rob her, but he fails. As payment she takes his bag, and later she finds her son's knife in there. She searches and finds the robber, but he claims he has received the knife as a gift from Sacham, since he couldn't cure him. She doesn't believe him at first but decides to go and look for Sacham nevertheless. And the closer she comes both her nightmares and gossip indicate the same: there is definitely something wrong with her son...
 
28 Cover Het elixir van de duivel Het elixir van de duivel
(The elixir of the devil)
The governor has asked Sacham to come so he can heal his family, and Aria and Marvella accompany him on his trip. One evening they camp not far from a cursed forest, and that night thousands of krylfs come and visit the two krylfs that accompany Aria. The two join the swarm. From then on it seems as if the krylfirs that live in the area, larger than krylfs, are after Aria for some reason...
 
29 Cover Maanogen Maanogen
(Mooneyes)
A group of robbers uses hypnosis to find out where unsuspecting people hide their savings, and when they leave they leave bodies behind. The next stop is Aria's castle, where Rexanne is alone when they come. She survives, but only just. When Aria arrives she calls the help of the frones for Rexanne, before going after the criminals...
