Imagine a café the size of your living room, and a stage the size of your dining table. And me sitting at the edge of that dining table. From that angle, and with awful light, I didn’t manage a decent picture of Geert Maesschalck, the musician. His bass however, an instrument with a beautiful wood pattern on it, was perfect in front of where I was tucked away.
